Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, popularly referred to in the media as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American singer, actress, comedian and radio personality who is also known as the daughter of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and the mother of comic Raul Vale. Angelica Maria Vale Hartman is known for being the pioneer in the La Balada Ranchera musical genre, which reached the top charts and was the first Latino singer in America to have sold 2 million copies. In 1974, she was introduced to Venezuelan comedian and actor Raul Valle. The couple married on April 25 in 1975. It was the first live Mexican wedding to be broadcast.
