Ashley was in the part as Jessica Finch as part of the Judy Moody Family Comedy, Not Bummer Summer. Ashley was recognized further when she was her character was chosen to play the characters of a variety of bears in the Award-winning animated comedy Ernest & Celestine starring Forest Whitaker Lambert Wilson Pauline Brunner. The film earned fourteen of the 29 nominations they received, and also the Oscar.
