DMX was an American performer, songwriter, and actor who started rapping in the early 1990s and released his debut album It's Dark and Hell Is Hot on the 19th of May, 1998. Among his other albums were... and there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... again The Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ and Flesh of Blood Flesh. The album... And There was X was awarded the Grammy prize in 2001 in the category of Best Rap Album. In addition to his musical projects, he also appeared in movies like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds That Will Never Die Alone The Bleeding Romeo Has to Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
